Subject722

Subject722 is a political and military figure within the Continental Army, best known for his leadership roles in the House of Representatives, the HiCOM Academy, and the Order of the Sabre (OOTS). With a career marked by administrative leadership, controversy, and reform efforts, Subject has played a significant part in shaping multiple key institutions across the CA.

Early Career

Subject722 began his journey in the broader MILSIM landscape alongside Zamalamamoemoe123, in the 29th CLIB, a group led by CatGirlFireWatch. There, both Subject and Zama honed their leadership skills and discipline in preparation for future roles as NCOs (and later for officer roles).

HiCOM Academy

Following Zama's departure from the HiCOM Academy, Subject722 assumed the role of Head Professor. His tenure was marked by a controversial shift in academic direction: Subject appointed junior officers as professors; a move that many within the CA saw as a dilution of the Academy’s standards. The decision sparked protests across the community, and amid growing dissatisfaction, the HiCOM Academy was ultimately shut down. This chapter remains one of the most debated periods in the Academy’s history.

Order of the Sabre

After the closure of the Academy, Subject722 turned his focus to the Order of the Sabre, a prestigious dueling organization within the CA. Through a formal application process for the title of Archduke, Subject emerged as the most qualified and was chosen to lead the Order.

Leadership and Reform

Under his guidance, the Order experienced a brief but impactful resurgence. Subject appointed council members, moved tryouts to the game Dueling Grounds for more effective skill evaluation, and helped revive interest in CA-wide melee competition.

Later, when c_ammo assumed oversight of the Order, he initiated a sweeping reform plan that included:

  1. Selective and elite membership
  2. Streamlined council structure
  3. New medal systems
  4. CA-wide tournament hosting
  5. Community outreach and visibility efforts

Subject722 worked closely with billysilly573 and c_ammo during this period to bring many of these ideas to life. Despite their efforts, the reforms did not meet expectations, and leadership eventually reverted to max1musrg08. Following Subject’s retirement, the Order was formally shut down and remains closed.

Political Career

Subject722’s formal political involvement began with the interim Presidium of the House of Representatives during Project Democracy, a transitional leadership team formed during the reconstruction of the House. Subject served as Secretary, alongside Billysilly573 as Deputy Speaker and ThatPrussian as Secondary Secretary.

Though Subject stepped down prior to the House's official re-launch, his early administrative involvement was key in helping lay the foundation for what would become a fully restored legislative body under Zama. After Zama’s eventual retirement from the Speakership, Subject722 ran for election and was successfully voted in as the new Speaker of the House, where he continues to serve.

Legacy

Subject722 is recognized as a capable institutional leader whose decisions, both praised and contested, have shaped significant parts of CA’s political and cultural framework. From his early administrative work in rebuilding the House, to leading elite institutions like the HiCOM Academy and the Order of the Sabre, Subject’s impact has been widely felt.

Now serving as the Speaker of the House, Subject continues to influence CA governance and legislative operations, maintaining his role as a prominent voice in the evolving landscape of the Continental Army.
